2021 Mazda6 Engine
Standard in the Sport and Touring trims is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 187 horsepower. The other trims have a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 227 or 250 horsepower, depending on which type of gasoline you use. All models come with a six-speed automatic transmission. The previously available manual transmission has been discontinued.

The 2021 Mazda6 has a starting MSRP of $23,800. That’s about average for the class. The Touring trim’s MSRP starts at $26,400 while the Grand Touring retails for $29,500. The Grand Touring Reserve has a base MSRP of $32,000, and the range-topping Signature trim starts at $35,100. That’s about average for the starting MSRPs of high-end trims in this segment.
